About Me

Dr.-Ing. Marcel Winandy

I am a cyber security architect, security technology advisor, and system security researcher. I love to find out how things could go wrong, and how to design systems better in order to have them behave as intended. I apply this passion to design and analyze security architectures for products and solutions, and to guide development teams into meeting the corresponding security requirements.

With over 20 years of experience in academic and industry-oriented research & development projects, including as team leader and project manager, and having (co-)authored over 50 scientific and technical papers, my mission and commitment is to drive technical innovation in computer security, and to make real systems more secure. I am a great fan of science-fiction and fantasy stories, and I enjoy to share time with my wife and to improve our skills in guiding our dogs so that they behave as intended, too.
